Following a degree of Science in Pre-Nursing from McCook Community College in McCook, Nebraska. Mr. Furquan R. Stafford, Sr. was inspired by Dr. Charles R. Drew's plasma research. This has motivated and inspired the vision of C.P. Plasma Center, Inc. to continue with Dr. Drew's process to educate and train individuals to advance in the field of medicine as well as to continue the study of plasmapheresis.

Plasmapheresis is the process of removing whole blood and separating red blood cells from plasma. The red blood cells are returned to the donor and the plasma is retained for use in preparing medicinal products.
